Progress continues, although at this point its safe to say that it’s being felt as opposed to seen. My darling wife has been uncharacteristically tired lately, proof that the baby is doing some quite heavy lifting so to speak. On top of that, she’s actually lost weight, which no doubt counteracts the “bump” phenomenon. The morning sickness is becoming more… bearable (dare I say), with episodes hitting about every other day now. She also made the comment today that she’s “getting more used to it”. I haven’t decided if that’s a good thing or a bad thing, the jury’s still out on that one. Anyway, we’ll continue to keep everyone updated as things progress. In closing, here’s the weekly belly shot!
~ Soon to be Daddy

Jess,
You are beautiful!
Love You,
Mom
I don’t feel very beautiful… I feel sick and I don’t think I look any different. I hope to start gaining some weight back and start seeing my baby belly.
Hay! I just got your letter! You’re so thoughtful! I have yet to receive an EDD. I should have one tomorrow. Tomorrow is my first REAL Doctors appointment. We are so excited, were getting an ultrasound to see our baby or babies for the very first time. Estimating from my last menstral Cycle I should be 8 weeks 3 days as of today 10/20/08. I think this is so weird that were only a few DAYS apart! We have been trying to conceive for about 6 months now. We’re anxious to see how many little boogers we have in their seeing that I was taking fertility drugs. Hopefully no more than two! HAHA I have gotten a little baby bump too! ANother reason as to why I believe there may be more than one. I’ve been searching images online and my tummy shouldn’t be this big! I could be imaging things! I too am in the “sick” stage. Mine didn’t start until I was 7 weeks, so I consider myself lucky. I have had two good days since then. I just hope it goes away soon! I can’t do my job from lack of concentration. Here is my e-mail…we have to keep in touch through this. Reading your blogs make me feel a little better knowing someone else is feeling my pain! Talk to you later! Good luck on your sickness!
This site is too cool. I love being able to see your progress. Of course, I hate hearing your queasy but the baby is growing. Your body is getting used to sharing its energy, nourishment and hormones with the little one. Remember lemon heads are great for morning sickness.
I am so happy for you guys. Sounds to me like “soon to be Daddy” is ahead of the game. Marshall your awesome! You are a lucky “mama to be”, Jesscia.
I think it’s fantastic that your seeing a mid-wife. I had a friend who delivered all 4 of her babies at home. I wasn’t there during the delieveries but shortly after. It was incredible.
I wish you all well. I can’t wait to see you guys and “feel” Jessica’s belly. Love always, Pam
P.S. Paul and Justin send their love.
